Horrible website. Their search function is atrocious. An item may appear if you search one area but not in another. The proverbial needle in a haystack.
Purchasing is impossible. I selected Paypal because I didn't want to give Wal-Mart my personal info. It didn't work and the message Paypal gives doesn't explain the problem. So I go back to Wal-Mart, set up an account and give them all my personal info, then go to checkout and try to select Paypal as an option again. Still doesn't work.
Not a fluke either. Returned the next day and the site had the same problems. Horrible site, exactly what you expect from Wal-Mart. Site was probably designed and put together by underage six year olds in China.

I placed an order at WalMart.com for replacement contact lenses on 3/13/08; the US Postal Service and I were both informed on 3/18/08 that the order had been shipped; and my credit card was charged on 3/20/08, with delivery predicted between 3/21/08 and 3/24/08, via First Class Mail.
I emailed their Customer Service Department on 3/26/08 (2 full days after the last day predicted for delivery) that none of the order had yet arrived, and that the USPS tracking info only reflected that the shipping info had been received electronically.
It took them about 48 hours to respond with a generic auto-reply type email, which claimed that they would research the matter and respond again by email within 2 business days --
It's now 10 days past the end of the predicted delivery time, with no change in the USPS tracking info, and STILL no specific email reply --
Even after sending a second email message, their only response was a promise to call me within one business day -- with no contact, 48 hours later.
I can't imagine any internet retailer treating their customers this way, let alone the world's largest retailer!
I will try to follow up soon with more details.

It is good to know that the website is generally less than the store on price. It seems like bad business when they will not match their website prices though. I purchased a TV from the store. when i go t home decided to look at their site, it was $30 cheaper. the only way to get this price is to order from the website, ship to store free, and return my current purchase. This seems to be a bit on the stupid side as ultimately it will cost Wal mart more money and waste my time. Fatwallet nets me an additional 2%. Their cusomer service will not reply to any questions on this. kind of a sad bunch of people!
What exactly is ending on 01/31/08? Does this mean that the 2% Cash Back is no longer available from Wal-Mart after January 31st?

Currently working at Wal-Mart now. Though I can't say I completely like it, it works great with my college schedule. I can't believe they are others who would say they work off the clock and know others in their store who do. I know I would never do that and it seems irrational to be doing work and not to be compesenated for it. Wal-Mart once a retail powerhouse I believe is loosing their edge. Smaller niche stores are taking away business that can compete by offering personalized service. In addition I think retail in general has been severly altered by internet shopping and will continue to be. Especially as more and more people grasp shopping on the internet, sales and foot traffic will continue to move away from the big box stores. Look soon to see smaller Wal-Marts that don't carry everything but rather very specific and basic products lines that are needed more frequently and by most people. I just wish Wal-Mart could improve their clothing and shoe selections. They have the pricing advantage yet whoever is in corporate obviously doesn't have any fashion taste when they are choosing the products to go on the store shelves. Just a thought, but I think Wal-Mart will continue to sloth its way through in sales the next couple of years.

Please be aware that the website will allow you to place a order, put a hold on your funds through your bank account even if the item is out of stock. Currently I have 1000. being held up by WalMart. They have canceled my order but will take up to 5 business days to return my money.
