I've been looking at a new Dell computer with the 30% live.com through eBay. It looks like most sellers are selling the similar refrub/returned computers that are available through Dell outlet. How do sellers get resell accounts through Dell? They must be getting the computers at a much bigger discount to resell them through eBay/paypal (both fees would be $50-$75) per machine?

Just curious, I did a google search for Dell resale but didn't turn up anything obvious. How are these sellers getting so many machines at discount? Is there some discount through Dell for large wholesale orders? Anyone that sells Dell machines care to chime in?

What I heard is they buy them refurb/returned and a good many eBay sellers leave out that detail and sell them new. any other info?

why the red?? it's a legitimate question.

i understand they are refurbished, that's OK. I'm just wondering how they get such a discount through Dell.

You are getting red b/c people are not willing to disclose info that would give them more competition. Why would anyone stab themselves in the back?

most don't have reseller's accounts bc your not allowed to resell to people on online auction sites under their terms. check out dealscans.

It's possible there are hot deals at Dell Outlet that you aren't seeing because people with scripts grab them almost instantly.
