sold in wrong ebay category

i apparently sold a sailboat sail in the wrong category.
i sold it for $100 but my fee is $125..

is there a way to appeal this?

Just request it now and request buyer to accept it once the item got delivered so that he doesn't lose protection in case it is SNAD. This might give the buyer some confidence on you that it is a genuine mistake and not a scam.

i sold a small boat sail in the sailboat category..
i asked buy-it-now $125 for it...
i guess thats why i didnt notice the 125 was the fee.
i need to slow down when i do these things.

You should check your FVF before listing.
