hmm then why not pricematch up and monsters?
if they are both on sale, go for it! knew UP was, wasn't sure on Monsters.

Amazon has Up + Monsters Blu-rays for $37.48 without all the coupon+pricematch hassle.
just search for the Up Blu ray and scroll down to the combo offer.

yes they do. but you must bring in the ad from WalMart. oohhh so thats why you mentioned only UP and not Monsters.. hmm hopefully monsters will be in the ad as well.

a print out from the WalMart website should work as well. YMMV.
If you can obtain these movies cheaper as DVD's than these sale-priced Blu-Rays, that would be the route to go. The standard definition Monsters, Inc. DVD looks incredible with a good upscaling DVD player displaying on an HDTV and I cannot imagine any significant improvement by going with a Blu-Ray version of it. This is typical of modern animated films - they all look exceptional and it is unlikely you would get images that are much better, if at all, by going to Blu-Ray. Some electronics stores will use animated films like Monsters, Inc. to demo their HDTV's because the images will look so impressive that customers won't notice the difference between better and cheaper displays like they would with non-animated images.
Is there a WM ad with Up in it? I haven't seen a WM ad in a while, we get them monthly at best in my area. $19.96 for the Bluray is a better price than the 2 disc DVD version elsewhere!

With the coupons, etc, it is better to get the blu-ray which comes with the DVD. The price is close to, if not cheaper than the DVD. I agree the PQ on these DVDs tend to be awesome, but the increase in sound quality and picture quality makes it nice to own, especially at a discounted price.
Nice deal, but note that these two movies are currently $37.48 shipped (together) from Amazon after the $10 combo coupon. Right now the pricing at Amazon is $24.49 for MI and $22.99 for UP. If one or both of these drop to 19.99 by next week to match store sales (As seems likely), Amazon (with the pre-order price guarantee) will end up being the best deal.

Perhaps your home theater experience (and golf game! ) would benefit from a trip to the eye doctor.
