I picked one up at TRU. I really don't understand why people are buying so many because there is no profit margin for selling on eBay. |

I think it has something to do with the $135 you get for shipping it back to Activision. http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/topic.php?catid=18&threadid=810405&highlight_key=y&keyword1=guitar+wii |

Sorry scammers!!! Quoted from the form: "...if your return package exceeds the limit of one refund per person/mailing address, your entire package will be returned to you with a letter indicating what items were missing or that it exceeded the permissible number of refund requests." |

Of course my son tells me yesterday that he wants Guitar Hero and now everybody has it for $90. Timing seems to be everything and mine is shot... |

My replacement arrived today March 1... The disk says "Dolby Pro Logic II" on the right side underneath the oval Nintendo seal. Also at the bottom of the disk it has a star above the word "Activision". Sent in on Feb 13. for about a 17 day turnaround! not bad at all. update: Sound quality is MUCH improved! No more center channel mono blare when the star power kicks in! instinet said:stuckatwork said:instinet said:joekewl said: So for just $10 more, you get a 2nd copy of the game. Which really makes the fact that those idiots at Activision want people to just mail in their current copy of the (Wii) game once the new version is available, and go without the game for how ever long it will take them to send you the fixed (stereo) version.
Yesterday the USPS mailman brought me a self-addressed, prepaid disk mailer envelope for returning my GH3 Wii disk... I guess I signed up online a few weeks ago. To send it in now or to wait for the rush to end???
I haven't gotten mine yet, so you may be one the first to get one. Mail it in tomorrow, and you may beat the rush.
Because I now have 2 discs, (bot one Monday), I am mailing in the original one today 2-13-08 and will update fw when the replacement arrives. |

Today Red Octane sent me a FREE GH3 faceplate as a thank you for your patience in the remastered disk ordeal. (3 weeks after the new disk arrived) Now I gotta send in my 2nd bad original disk... 3/26/08 it is going out in their prepaid envelope. See if I also get 17 day turnaround on this one. That would be an ETA of April 13 for the new disk. and then May 7 for the new faceplate. We'll see. instinet said:My replacement arrived today March 1... Well I see the Dolby Pro Logic II on the right side of my old disk, but no star above Activision. So I guess this "star" must differ the two versions of the CD? instinet said:My replacement arrived today March 1...
