You mentioned above that you inserted the Citi Upromise card into your list because of the No BT fee offer. However, when I click thru your link and check the Ts&Cs, I see "Balance transfer fee: 3% of each balance transfer; $5 minimum." and no cap. Did you find a capped offer somewhere and just posted the incorrect link?

There is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above." So there is no BT fee to use the checks they send you and write them to yourself .

My bad. I looked through the Upromise card offers on Citi's site and must have copied the terms from one of those instead of yours. Great offer.

I (and others) had poor experiences with Pulaski Bank. Pulaski Bank is now doing business as IBERIABANK. Have you considered their VISA Classic?

For all my loyal FWF readers of my AOR thread, here is a little buried gem that is not in my OP...

Citi Professional with $0 BT fee and 15k TYN points - fairly difficult offer to find these days on this card, usually only one or the other, not both

I'm not currently planning on doing another professional b/c I already have the professional and 4 other Citi Apps for this round. However, my old Professional has a $20k limit, and it would certainly be easy to move some of that to a new pro card...but there are other options for that $20k, and I'm really going to fight to get it converted to a Diamond Preferred card so I can move CL to the Cash Rewards. What is FWF's opinon on me having a 5th Citi app for the professional? That would be 2 personal, 1 Associated, 1 business, and 1 Professional. I use Citi as my every day spender for the past 3 years, and have never had any adverse action from them, plus they are technically "seperate credit buckets," but I still think that is risking way to much, and better safe than sorry.

Can't say I've ever seen these, thanks! These 6 mo offers are often worth throwing in at the very end of the AOR as a last shot. I wouldn't waste the inquiry to miss out on a 12 month offer, but there is little to loose for trying them usually. I wonder which agency they will pull?

O ya...and balance update: All three agencies are showing a $10k balance of total revolving accounts. It is HSBC, Discover, and BOA that are still lagging with the $0 balance update. While my total debt ratio is good now, those three lines have ~80% utilizations and I'm definately not having that show up on my new apps...so the waiting continues.

Update 2: My sister (who had balances on 3 CC's from a micro AOR last year to help strengthen her credit report) has disputed her balances 4 days ago, and hopefully those will update. She needs to sign up for a credit monitoring service to see when this happens. Then she will be firing off a full scale AOR this time, and likely she'll do better than I did the first time due to the Micro AOR (she has some 7k-12k lines from before). Her card list will be similar to mine, but different in several respects also. I'm still thinking of ways to tie my multiple AOR's together without making a big mess.

Nice offer on the Citi Pro. 15k TYP is after 1st purchase(no amount), and it also carries the 0% BT from the first date of the BT (must be within 12 months), not account opening.

It is really nice to have as I want to use the Cash Rewards for 3 months until the 5% promo expires, then I can still use the BT offer (where as it would expire with most other issuers, or 1/4 my promo would be gone). However, in practice for me, I'll likely only use it for 9 month's anyway so that I can clear the reports of balances asap for AOR 3.0 next year .

Depending on the size of the BT you take out with Citi, you might consider letting one roll over if you wanted. There was some talk a little while ago(struggling to find links) about some issuers being freaked when going from ~0 balances to >100k balances. In my 2.0, I held a >13k BT on my Citi 0-for-life through my launch, and still secured 83k in new lines (197k total). I haven't experience any AA or CL cuts from Citi. You may want to only do the 9 months for simplicity, but I'm just saying I wouldn't be terrified about having a reasonable showing.

Well, last year I did 2 personal, 2 biz, and 1 professional no problem. However, that was last year when everything was so easy. For me at least, Citibank has a habit of approving everything, but with modest sized lines.

It's still technically possible.

You have another audience member I am a rookie when it comes to AOR's only having done a couple of Micro ones for myself and wife, but am doing the research and keeping up with threads like these to learn and take a bigger leap. Good luck can't wait to see what happens.

I did the same thing a few months ago for my wife - 2 biz, 2 pers and 1 prof: CitiPP Biz, Citi Biz, Citi Prof, Citi Plat Select AA and Citi Associated. However, I guess yours will be different in that you'll have 2 personal plus the Associated.

More than applying for too many Citi cards at one sitting, you may run into the max number of cards Citi allows to one individual. 2ndCor ran into that. He had 6 personal cards going into his A0R and was only approved for 3 more, 2 biz and the Associated, with the others being declined due to the above reason. You have 4 and 5 more would bring you to the same total, but might also get you closer scrutiny.

^^^ But I currently only have 2 personal, 1 business, and 1 professional. With 2 new personal, 1 new business, 1 new co-branded, and even one new professional, I shouldn't run into a max CC limit with them. Again, I'm more concerned about them seeing that macgical "5 TU inquiriy from all 5 Citi apps" then getting all my new cards and/or my old cards closed. I've got a decent total CL with them already, and I'm pretty sure I'll keep it more conservative given the recent AA info and today's credit situation (not to mention thier stock is taking a massive beating, down ~6% today).

One more link check...

I went to Card Selection via your link for the Discover Biz card. Only the Biz Miles card has a 0% BT offer and it's only thru 1/09. Is that what you saw, or is there another 0% 12 month offer that I missed.

The very first card there, Plain Discover Business, if you click that to thier website and look at the TC, it is 0% until July 2009, with a capped $75 BT fee.

I see those terms for purchases, "Card Purchases: 0% until the last day of the billing period ending during July 2009*; then the standard APR, 13.99%"

...but the BT terms show, "1.99% until the last day of the billing period ending during January 2009*; then the standard APR for purchases."

Yep, looks like you are right on that one. Thanks again for catching it. I tried to find a 0% business offer BT for 12 months but couldn't. Anyone else know of a Discover Business 0% BT 12 mo offer? My mom has this card from last year (which is where I got the previous link) and hers had the offer. Looks like they changed terms on me.

Business Miles

edit (sorry): but only until January 2009

edit:Cardselection application link reads 6 month BT at 3.9% but the actual terms and conditions read 0.0%

I was hoping I wasn't right since I'm looking for similar terms. I thought I found one via cardbenefit.com for the Discover Business Miles Card, link, but the actual terms are different than what the offer page shows.
