Anyway, I found the answer.

Mind sharing the answer to the your unknown question?

Just out of curiosity I would like to know what you were trying to ask.

My original question was--Is there any advantage of getting this card (Associated Bank Card) over the Citi Drivers Edge card as both have no annual fee, have 0% APR on BT with no BT fee?

somehow my link got wrongly linked to the checking account deal from LaSalle Bank.

In other words, you messed up and took out your own error on others.

I applied for this card and upon hitting 'submit' for the BT option, received a message stating that an error occurred and to try again later, and the window closed immediately. WTF? I was approved but don't think I saw an acct number, if so I didn't copy it. And I haven't received an automated email yet, even though I provided my addy. Anyone else have any problems? I used the Citi shortcut. If it wasn't for all the positive comments on here, I'd be a little concerned about a scam here...

Drivers Edge:
Earn up to 6% rebates on the purchases you make at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations for 12 months. $1 for every 100 miles you drive - up to $1,000 every 12 months.
If you do it right you can get back 12%!

No scam, just file it under sh*t happens. Give Citi a call and see if they received your application.

Does anyone know if a citi card with terms like this allows multiple 0% no fee bts to be initiated, or do they no longer offer the no-fee bt after the first bt is initiated?

It appears that you can do multiple 0% no fee BTs. From the terms and conditions:

Balance transfer APR: As long as first balance transfer is completed within 12 months from date of account opening, 0.00% for 12 months from date of first balance transfer. After that, 9.99% variable.

And:

Balance transfer fee: 3% of the amount of each balance transfer, $5 minimum, $75 maximum. However, there is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above.

As it says, the 0% APR on balance transfers (even subsequent ones) will end 12 months from the first balance transfer.

Same thing happened to me. I suspect it has to do with being Sunday morning and some internal system being down for maintenance.

Pro for Driver's Edge - great rewards on purchases. Pro for OP's card - CL doesn't count towards Citi's max exposure. BT offer is a wash.

Only your personal situation can determine which is the better deal. The answer could very well be "get both cards."

I have about 6 or 7 citi cards. When I opened the Home Rebate card in Jan, Citi wouldn't let me transfer any of my existing Credit Lines to this card. I have: Dividend Card, Diamond Preferred, Citi AMEX, Professional Card.

Their excuse was "This is a different type of card," but I think this is Citi's new excuse to not allow you to increase your limits on new 0% cards that you open. I have 20k of credit across my Citi cards, but they only gave me 5k with this Home Rebate card, and I could not find any way to increase the line.

Has anyone else had this problem of not being able to transfer Credit Lines at citi?

Maybe this suggests you should close some of the newer accounts so you can rinse and repeat shortly.

When I clicked on the submit button it gave me an error along the lines of "The page you requested is not available..."

Tried a 2nd time, and it still didn't work. Then I tried filling out the form manually instead of using the Citi-card member shortcut and I got instant approval for 15K. Thanks!

Be aware that they I had this exact language on my Citi Profesiional card, and after doing a couple of BT to checking (when I would then trasnfer the balance on the card to a non-Citi issuer), oe day I logged on and couldn't do abother one. I called and they basically told me I was SOL. So, I'd be a bit careful to assume you can do mutiples with Citi to infinity.

Thank you, this is exactly the kind of experienced-based feedback I was hoping to see get answered here. Can anyone else confirm or deny?

Basically, I'm wondering if I can use the card to do rolling BT... IE: do a large BT early in the statement cycle, repay it right before statement close, and repeat for several months (fewer than 12 from account opening, obviously.) Thanks.
