To many new account with chase is normal, nothing tight about it. To many new accounts in the last 12 months is also normal. But if you pay attention to which accounts you apply for, you can get up to 5. So far thats the RECORD i've seen, VENTURION is going to go for 15 also but I think he's going to plan it out a little better.

Just because 1 chase app gets denied doesn't mean the next 1 won't get approved. There is NO computer at chase that see EVERY chase app you have. There is a copmuter at chase that may see most of your app but they can't see all of them before it's to late.

Chase has 800 different cards, they are approved by different branchs in the company. There is not 1 branch that does all the approvals or denials.

Newbie mistake. Though I did follow ThisGuys list of Chase Cards and their order of application. (of which he got approved for the same 4 cards) I guess a fair amount of the whole process is still being discovered.

What most people don't realize is each of us have different things going on. THISGUY has a business credit report I think, I've asked him but no reply yet.

Thats why everything is always a YMMV, and being negative just for the sake of being negative is never a good plan. In Dec. I got denied for the CITI PP biz card. In jan I got approved for the CITI PP biz card for 12,000, you just gotta know how to play the game. I'm not saying i'm the greatest, but you've got to filter out alot of things here.

POLARDUDE did like 100 apps and he got plenty. but most said he was crazy, now those same people think differently about him!

someone on creditboards was told by BofA by a few different CSRs that you can apply for 6 cards on 1 pull. You can follow along here.

She has PMed me here before, I guess she doesn't know that creditboard fokes don't like the fatwallet way

Applying for this many Chase cards is nuts. Among other things, CRAs track the number of times your SSN has been used as input within last 30 days (it is not always on the consumer version of the report). So, it does not matter how many business entities you have... Also, business card applications, approvals and denials are reported to ICS/ARS (at least Visa/MC), so you are trashing that as well. And imagine how much damage you'll get from Chase pulling EXP for each application if they so choose...

alert mods

you already know this venturion, but you can use me as a guinea pig... i have 15 (19 including business cards) chase card apps in the last two weeks.

brianLp518's personal AOR

alert mods

Approvals and denials????? I guess doing a 30 app spree is OK.

Venturion is not a newbie, I think 15 may be to many also. But why not try to figure it out! Instead of just tossing it out the window as IMPOSSIBLE!

You know, you sound like a newbie who just got here and didn't know that 3 apps is alright. We KNOW thier system can't see all the apps, so why not try to figure the system out.

I think between all of us, after he posts his list of cards then we can pick it apart from our experiences.

Venturion, this is a quote from your 1st AOR.

Business Details: $2,500 in business revenue (actual 1099 from 2006 consulting work), same home address/phone number, SS# as TIN where requested (some apps allow you to leave it blank), always requested BT ($30K to $50K to other cards), did not ask for secondary cards, expressed interest in other product (credit card processing), 7 years in business, and 2 years at my current home. Typically asked for ~$50K credit line.

Which cards have you found that don't require your SS#, even the NO PG cards that I know of still ask for it but if you don't supply it it's still alright. But there is no way i've found to know.

alert mods

From my AOR, everything counts toward the limit with Chase: personal and business, United, GM, Chevy Chase... and the limit is 2. I got all 4, but only due to their multiple screw-ups.

alert mods

Like I said, look over OPs past AOR. He knows what he's doing, noone would have thout he would've had the success he did. OP isn't just the normal, He knows his $hit and will end up teaching us all something " I HOPE".

Is there any rhyme or reason for these chase apps?

Brians 15 apps are only showing 4 on the chase app status line.

alert mods

No rhyme or reason YET. All of them are 0%, of course. I want to do most if not all of the Chase co-branded/affinity cards. As to the pure chase cards, that's up in the air.

alert mods

Well in my experience, Chase biz, chase ups and chase profession must come from diffent credit buckets.

I got my chase cards in this order all in 45 days

Chase Biz 6,000
Chase Prof. 20,000
Chase UPS 15,000

YMMV, can't know for sure.

A few comments for your consideration: 1) Experian will be frozen (just waiting for confirmation from EX) 2) how many apps is too many? I did five last time with very good results 3) exactly what impact does the ICS/ARS report have? Thanks for the feedback!

[EDIT] Eugene, I see the post above where you indicate the limit of Chase apps/cards is 2. My experience supports a different conclusion. I am not aware of any screw-ups with my last A0R and I applied for and received 5 chase cards (some were co-branded).

Win, I think the parenthetical was meant to be interpreted to say that some apps didn't require the TIN - I believe all require SSN. Unfortunately, it was so long ago that I don't recall. I'll pay closer attention this time and take notes if any apps do indeed not require SSN.

alert mods

From what I understand, Home depot master card, BP?, Sams club Discover and Keybank master card do not require SS#. I think rates suck but those are real business credit cards.

I will know more in a few months, long story.

If you can figure out more of them, that would be great!

alert mods

win333, what is the fetish with getting credit without a PG? These lines are pretty much useless by themselves, so unless they help you build toward some bigger purpose, I don't get it. In cased you missed it, I started a business credit strategy thread to discus this very topic, and I would appreciate your input.

Yes I did miss it, I'll check it out. Yes there is a reason, Since I do have a business. I'm building for bigger and better things.

1 example would be buying a car with no PG, it won't show up on your credit report. I now have 3 more credit reports that will look great.

Many people get the CITI biz TRIO and those are 0%, I want to see If I can get approved for 50,000 a pop instead of these 10,000 a pop cards.

alert mods

Anyone in VA freeze experian? How long did it take? I sent the request by mail two weeks ago... still waiting.

Also, I got my Equifax business report this weekend - damn if it isn't spot on. I'll have to go through line by line, but it seems to have almost every biz card from my last biz A0R.

I applied for a BofA biz power rewards visa via the S-Corp recently. The inquiry showed up in the Equifax biz report and my personal report. I was approved for an $8,500 CL. When I applied for the same card last July in conjunction with my A0R and sole-P, I received a $20K CL. So the approval doesn't seem to be a problem; however, the CL may be limited. I believe Mark alluded to this before. I'm still going to call Advanta, Chase, AMEX, etc. to discuss prior to this A0R.

So... T-5 days I imagine with the above calls and the confirmed Experian freeze being the two primary milestones beforehand.
