I think several people have, namely the CitiBusiness and CitiBusiness PremierPass cards. In addition to those two, I was also approved for the CitiBusiness AAdvantage card last time around. I know the conventional wisdom is 2 personal, 1 professional and 2 business for Citi, but that made 3 business cards approved in one A0R for me.
yep, i've completely ignored the conventional wisdom with citi. today my wife was instantly approved for citi hilton, associated bank, and cashReturns. maybe the limits apply to citi proper vs. co-brand? whatever, just apply until they say no. whoa, i just channeled win333. Citi trifecta baby! You can also get the citi biz card and then get the citi biz card with ty points, they might give you a hard time. Then they understand. 1 has ty and 1 doesn't. Us bank does let you have multiple entities, 10,000 for SP and 15,000 (2nd app)LLC. I was surprized my 2nd app got more than my 1st app. |

Venturion, Why are you only putting the BT $$$ into 3.25% savings? I found at least three options paying 3.84% and up (see my A0R, phase 3) that are relatively simple. It's only about 1/2 percentage point, but on the numbers your talking about I think it would be worth it to look at the options. Just curious, 2Cor521 |

Your read my mind, friend. 3.25% is my local savings account and I had parked it there for the time being. I moved most of it to CW today. I got $100K into the 4.3% CD a few days ago and another $100K is in the 4.1% SavingsLink account. I have another $100K part of which I'll keep liquid in the 3.25% account b/c my billpay is already setup for it and the remainder may go into one of the accounts you mentioned. I freely admit I'm being a little lazy If the rolling nature of my A0R continues, I'll get on the ball (sorry, bad pun). |

On the plus side, I'm already building the A0R 3.0 list. There's an archived thread that went into specifics of citibank app restrictions. Last June I was approved for 8 citi cards with no rejections while not having any current citi cards to begin with. In chronological order, with CLs: 1. Business TY $12K 2. Business PremierPass $6K 3. PremierPass Elite $20K 4. AT&T Universal $7.5K 5. Driver's Edge $7.5K 6. Professional TY $15K 7. Honors HHilton $25K 8. Business AAdvantage $40K Notice the high CLs on the last 2 apps, even though my EXP report already had 8 new hard pulls showing. These along with the AT&T are not included in the 'core' 5 accounts that you can apply for in a 60 day period. They seem to have a different formula for initial credit lines. |

LOL, I'd say you're doing just fine. I've been having this funny mental conversation with myself the last few days: "I'm a real loser because I only got $77,000 of new credit instantly on my A0R 2.0." "I'm glad I only applied for 36 new cards, that is really quite a reasonable number of cards to apply for. Not like 56 cards, that's way too many." "Pulling one's credit daily from three different credit agencies is really quite normal." Juxtapose that next to my parents -- who are unaware of my A0R activities -- being delighted that their credit reports are all clean and that they only have like 5 cards total with 2 inquiries, and wondering if they have too many cards. "Naw, Mom and Dad, you don't need to get down to 1 or 2 cards; 5 cards isn't too many." While I have 30 open cards and am climbing towards three quarters of a million in credit and maybe 1/4 million in credit card debt. We live in a different world here. 2Cor521 |

Cambridge Trust (Elan) - deferred - received address verification phone call - got $25K CL card yesterday. Because the S-corp is located in a train station, its physical address has no delivery. Seems that has snagged at least a handful of apps since I have to use the PO address. Anyway, I guess its time to apply to all of the other wonderful Elan / USbank business cards from lhendricks thread. |

Although this is my first FW post I have $200k of business BT money sitting in various investments so i'm no newbie to the process. I wanted to add some info that i've learned: Citi refused to let me allocate CL from one business to another business (different names but both soleP), I bitched and got them to send me a name change form and i changed the business name on one of the cards to match the business name on the other card. I was then allowed to CLR, i'm betting a YMMV situation in terms of getting them to send the form to name change. Best way to set yourself up for Citi on the business side is to apply for two cards (I used CitiBusiness PremierPass and CitiBusiness w/ TYN) with the 0% for 12 months from the date of the first transfer as long as within 12 months of approval . CLR all but 1k (min limit) from the TYN card TO the PremierPass card and enact the BT on the PremierPass card. Once 11 months is up(I used 11 months to be safe bc I wanted time to pay back BT, move credit line and make new BT) pay back the BT, CLR from the PremierPass to the TYN (closing the PP to avoid the annual fee) and BT using the TYN card for another 12 months. You've basically guaranteed 2 years of 0% which is twice as nice as 1 year. From here simply reapply for the PP business card at some point in the next year to have it ready to go again. Again this is just my personal experience but on the business side the chase regular rep i spoke with was ok with CLR up to $75k, over that I had to be transfered to the lending dept which could ok me up to a $99.9k on one card. Anything $100k or over was immediately transfered to another group which required tax returns for 3 years proving stated income. I told this person that i'd rather not jump through their hoops and that i'd just go back to the last rep and CLR 85k to one card and 50k to the other. This 100k+ rep told me that I couldn't do this and that I had to send in tax returns now to do any BT. I hung up, called back, CLR'd 85k and 50k and then BT'd. BT's were accepted for both the $85k and $50k with no questions asked and i've never heard about the tax return issue again. I'm sure I've got more hopefully helpful info but I think this is long enough for my first post. |

duna - Pulaski gave me the heisman - too many inquiries / new accounts. Just like FNBO and the other 'tards, have to apply early. A/A - first instance - Citi failed to renew my personal Platinum Select Dividend MC that expires next month. The account has been closed. There goes a Y2K account. Oh well, it only had a $2K CL. The CSR supervisor could not provide a definite reason but stated the large credit balance ($30K at the time) was against their policy. I argued with her to no avail. Anyway, I got about $200K through that $2K line over 2 A0Rs before A/A. I guess I'll have to go with a dedicated HELOC or other vehicle for future A0Rs Credit scores have plummeted to 646 and 67x on TU and EQ. Online disputes for EQ don't seem to be working any more. Inquires are 6EX, 6EQ, 0TU (b*page in effect). |

Well 200,000 thru a 2,000 card ain't to bad, sounds like it was worth it. Could you update the OP with which cards and lines you ended up getting? I'll be putting my LLC AOR together soon, I have 1 EQ inquiry left from my FEB apps for my LOC fiasco and 1 20,000 balance to move by 3/26. My EQ disputes for my brother haven't worked, others have PMed me about the problem. Read your paper copy that comes after, make sure the company name isn't INQUIRY. My brothers was screwed up, maybe it's a computer glitch, we can only hope |

You called it Win - the company name CONSISTENTLY comes back as "inquiry." Glitch? Maybe... Can't wait to see how your A0R goes. I'll update the OP soon. Thanks! |

Can't wait to see how your A0R goes. I'll update the OP soon. Thanks! Maybe i'll try reversing the NAME and the INQ??? I'll try it now, my brother has 18 EQs, 3 are from comcast and 2 are from scottrade. What a joke! EDIT: Done, it will take a few days after the weekend, this should be interesting! |

Innovis is a fourth, and not very popular, credit bureau. If it's a soft pull that might make sense. |
