Alright - my initial suspicions and reasons for doing the personal A0R are being confirmed. I robbed too much personal credit in Business A0R 1.0 last July 2007. So I'm hearing from BofA, Advanta, RBS, etc. that I just don't have large enough lines on the personal side. None of them can see the numerous large business lines. So Advanta gave me $2,500 after closing my $12,500 card and reapplying. BofA was queued up to give me $30K, but I either got greedy or got an overzealous CSR, because the next two credit analysts couldn't do it and only gave me $10K. The plus side is that the $38K Sony, the $10K state farm , $10K RBS, etc., will all help rebuild personal credit. With Exp freeze, EQ disputes, and TU b*, I should be able to doing rolling A0Rs every 2-3 months for a handful of new cards. Still waiting on Chase... PS. I did combine my $65K USair card with the new BofA Platinum Plus to get to a $75K card. I still have $1K on a Quantam card and $1K on the USair card, so a total personal exposure of $77K and $28.5K on the business side. The credit analyst also intoned that the BT fee could be waived or capped for such a large transfer. I'll let you know as soon as the card arrives and I give it a go. |

Note, I checked my old orama topic, and I was eventually able to get an RBS card after being denied for identity. That was when I discovered that they are chuckleheads: linkydo |

Don't feel bad, Advanta gave me 2,500 also. Maybe it's a trend Venturion said:Alright - my initial suspicions and reasons for doing the personal A0R are being confirmed. Doesn't the above statement have a special ring to it, I think we should name it **the triple play**!

Very good day at the office: (in order of Chase applications) UPS Biz - $15K Amazon Biz - $15K Priority Club Biz - $15K Chevy Chase Biz - $15K* Chase Biz - $13.5K (5 of 7) * best terms and likely consolidation card Other: CitiBiz - $8K TOTAL NEW CL: $252.8K so far. I'm beginning to think the Chase Biz app limit may be five. That seems to be where I maxed out before. Oh, I also got a couple of Chase Rejections with the witty reasons such as: 1. Biz (card not specifid): "YOU ALREADY HAVE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF CREDIT LINE WE CAN OFFER YOU" - could be Chase Platinum, Office Depot, or GM World with the first being the most likely candidate since I think my Sole-P has this card 2. Biz (card not specified): "NEW CHASE BUSINESS CARD RECENTLY OPENED" Both 1 & 2 have application IDs so I'll call and try to figure out which card once I finish the consolidation of the other Chase cards. 3. Personal (card not specific): "As you requested, we have discontinued the processing of your application..." This must be the Starbucks card that the CSR indicated I could have OR the Sony card, not both. I'll call these guys as well and see if they'll restart the app since the Sony is already approved, recieved, and BT'ed. On another note, the Baylor personal app I fired off yesterday from Lhendrick's no fee BT at application discovery pulled Equifax. I disputed the last 2/3 Equifax inquiries, so I expect 6EX, 0EQ, 5TU by late next week. Then I'll go after the Elan biz cards, US bank cards Win mentioned, and whatever else is left. Is it possible to CLR the Sony personal to Chase biz? If so, I'm tempted for an uber (circa $115K Chase biz line w/ possible combination of my existing $81K chase biz Sole-P line for $190K CL/BT). Sorry for the long post. |

I'd say that's a pretty strong indication Chase is considering your sole prop and S-corp to be separate entities. Congrats. EDIT: Yes, you can reallocate Sony to biz. |

I wouldn't listen to any of their MUMBO JUMBO, I think you've found a nice set of chase cards that don't communicate with each other. That is the only reason I can come up with for all the approvals. But that thought may be flawed, you only got 1 or 2 INQs from them. 190K, are you sure you want to combine SP and LLC? Call me conservative but I'd rather just pay the BT fee or maybe combine a few and make 30K cards. Asking for a 100K+ BT would freak me out. I looked back at the 1st page and can't find your total credit now, do you have the number? Can't wait for more results. ps You couldn't make a long uninteresting post pps Anythought on a 3rd Biz yet Edit: When you do the US Bank app, could you do your LLC 1st and check for an INQ? I don't think they are checking personal credit when a corp applys. That would be a good data point for newbs and people with credit problems or high utilization on their personal report. The BT terms suck at the moment, but maybe that will get better.

The 2 US bank cards I got, have 3% fees. I got them thinking it could utilization on biz report and they were a new creditor for me. I didn't think they would give me much. Trave rewards visa 2,500 bonus points 10,000 US bank visa biz platinum card 15,000 Bummer, any ideas? Edit: the biz platinum turned out to be a Korean air Skypass card. I did not apply for this card and is 17.49% BUMMER!
Also ELAN is not mentioned anywhere, The INQ was U.S. Bank and everything says U.S. Bank. Not sure what to do with it. Even the TC that came with the card was in English and I guess Korean. |

Why are your EQs back to 5, did you apply for something else? What BofA card is it, my quote for a merchant processing account is 1.70% for a non rewards swiped card and 2.69% for a rewards card. Just a thought, my needs are a bit different for my biz than they are for AOR investing. Atleast until I get enough AOR money |

Win - EQ is back up due to Advanta and US Bank; plus I bought a car and took some financing to get a rebate. The BofA card is a Platinum Plus with no rewards. What did you have in mind? So sometimes you get very lucky. I applied for about 30+ cards in total. I had quite a few TU hits. I didn't start aggressive b* until most of the apps had hit. It sure looks like TU b* has already begun. I've lost two inquires over the last two days. I'm using four daily services since about the 15th, so 60 soft pulls maybe plus the 15 or so individual hits some of which seemed to have been consolidated. Down to 6EX (frozen), 4EQ, and 4TU. Let's see if by Monday we get back to 6,0,0. None of the personal BT balances have reported so the scores remain high. |

Venturion - for pulling BT funds from your BOA platinum plus, any of these options work? Or, if it's 0% on purchases as well as BTs, check out this post. VanceWade reported opening and funding a large, 4.6% APY Air Academy FCU CD with a credit card. If that can still be done and you are OK giving up the liquidity that long, it's not a bad rate, and might be a good way to utilize a 0% on purchases credit card. |

Maybe I missed something, but are you creating a 40k+ credit balance on a 2k citi card? That could be risky.. |

Jake - unfortunately, its only 0% BTs. I don't have the other cards you mention, so I may have to apply for one of them. On the flip side, maybe I just leave this CL available for utilization #s. I'm going to be approaching the limits on the personal side. PolarDude - yes, I will ultimately BT at least $75K onto the $2K card. I did closer to $100K on my last A0R on the same card. The only variant this time is that I did a BT directly into my checking account in lieu of a check request from Citi. Let's see what happens. |

Venturion, did you consider trying to make one hyper-mega-uber CL on one of the Chase business cards, and simply doing one BT? It would have saved you $99, but you would have needed to assemble a $75k limit. |
