Thanks everyone. Sorry for the confusion. Biz apps - all S-corp (not sole-P, which was the basis of the last A0R) |

win333, it's not BS, it's called checks and balances, and I'm sure Venturion appreciated the feedback on his plan. Venturion, if you've discovered Chase considers each business a separate credit entity...wow, that HUGE. |

I think so far it just means that I had an excellent credit profile and Chase was happy to give me lots of cards. We don't know yet if I got any duplicate business cards I either already had with the Sole-P or that I had consolidated from the Sole-P A0R. |

Atleast you know they can't take credit line from your other cards Cause your already using it! Hendricks looking at A/A and beating it to death are 2 different things. I want to know about it also, but not every second of the day. You say i'm beating it do death, well just call me the BALANCE
Sorry OP i'll take it to PM if need be. Now if everyone could get their minds off of A/A, maybe we could figure out why you were able to get soooo many cards. Most might think it's because you used your CORP but I don't think so because you've broken the 5 RECORD that has been set for personal and biz together.
I wonder if you found the apps that aren't comunicating with all of chase (if that makes sense). Like I said before, BRIAN got 5 first U.S.A. INQs, maybe yours are split between CHASE, CHASE na, First U.S.A. and others. It will be interesting to see. |

The new forum software seems to be killing the servers right now so I can't check if this has already been said, but nice use of the code tag. |

2 BofA 1 HSBC I think that only three tried exclusively to pull Experian. I am guessing several of the issuers tried pulling all three but were satisfied when they were able to pull two. Let's see as the inquiries continue to roll in. |

In sept 07 my 30 apps got me 10 experian hits, in NOV 15 apps got 1 experian TRY. Man I'll take that any day! You never know, maybe BofA will try later to pull another one if it gets looked at by an Underwriter.
Discover in Nov. tried exp. and AMEX and Discover just last week, I've had no luck getting them to budge, but I think they'll learn. |

I would've played ignorant and disputed all of them, not 3 of 4 and 1 of 2. They're more than capable of verifying the inquiries and explaining that they are the same company using different names; no one could ever just expect you to know that. The Citi one, meh..... |

Okay - the Chase story is getting more interesting by the moment. Let's start at the beginning. I applied for 7 chase biz cards (mostly co-branded) and at least 3 personal cards (I'm not certain of the issuer for a couple of the cards - please see OP). My calls to the application status toll-free number have been constantly updated. At COB yesterday, I had 3 of 4 apps approved under my SS# and 4 of 4 apps approved under my business EIN#. Today, the same 4 of 4 business apps remain approved with the same details (promo rates, etc.). However, the personal apps have now shifted to 1 of 4 approved AND the approved card has shifted. Yesterday the 3 personal approved cards had CLs from $13.5K to $15K. Today's single personal approval has a $38K credit line (which is my Sony card). My Starbucks personal card application was withdrawn when a Chase analyst called and said I could only apply for it OR the Sony card. I wish I had put a higher BT request for those cards. I put $35K on both and I could tell he just arbitrarily picked $38K to keep a bit above. Perhaps I will call back for a CLI while dangling more BT requests. Anyway, Chase is definitely making it fun. As to inquiries, I'm up to 9 on Equifax and 7 on Transunion. Experian remains frozen with 6 (mostly from 7/07 A0R). I will attempt to unfreeze Experian so that I can apply for the pre-approved BoA card that Jakeru has kindly shared. That's on schedule for next week once I know that BoA won't try to pull for the two failed (PetRewards and MilesEdge) BoA apps in this A0R. |

Once they open an account, the 'next statement date' will float randomly from day to day until the first statement actually generates. I found that automated line to be just as reliable; until someone actually approves the account and you get the card, the system will seemingly just tell you whatever it feels like. You may be seeing as result of too many applications (10 apps, but its only telling you about any given 4 at a time), but I only had 4 apps total (2 personal, 2 biz using corp taxid) and got the same random updates - pending, to approved with no given limit, to denied, to pending, to approved for $XXXX, to approved w/no given limits, to pending. It didnt settle down until I called and an analyst approved the apps and sent them on their way to be opened. |

Glitch - good info. I would add that I've only gotten 3 permutations: 1) under review 2) approved with CL and regular APR and 3) approved with CL, regular APR, and promotional APR with expiration. I haven't had any declines or approved without CL through the numerous iterations. I definitely agree that the phone system has a 4-item queue limit. Let's see what comes in the mail! |

CRA update Inquiries over last 3 days: FIRST USA CAPONEBANK CAP ONE BANK ST FARM BANK Chase CBUSA/CBSD Citi USA Citi USA N.A. HSBC Bank Citi USA NA RBS CC FNB OMAHA BrclysbankDE BrclysbankDE BrclysbankDE BrclysbankDE Washmtl/prov (some pulled 1 CR, others pulled 2 CRs, EX is frozen) Fun facts: 1. Notice the odd little naming descrepancies between the three CITI hits and the two CAP ONE hits? 2. All the Barclays TU pulls were consolidated down to one today. 3. Equifax disputes worked flawlessly. 4. Only one Chase inquiry with ~10 Chase apps. Current inquiries: First USA (2/13/08): EQ Capital One (2/13/08): EQ/TU St Farm Bnak (2/13/08): TU FNB Omaha (2/12/08): EQ Barclays (2/12/08): TU Wash Mutual/Providian (2/12/08): TU Total: 4EQ, 4TU, 6EX(frozen) FAKOS: 744EQ, 746TU, EX not reporting (778 on AmexCS) Apps that seemingly pulled: 26 Non-Chase apps officially approved: 6 ($83K) Chase apps: ~10 submitted, ~6 approved so far (~$96K) Rejections: 2 (Bank Atlantic - sufficient credit; FNB Omaha - letter on its way) |

I just can't figure out chase, you have CHASE and First U.S.A. INQs. So thats 2 INQs for 10 apps. Brian got 6 First U.S.A. INQs for his trouble. Isn't bankone owned by chase, I wonder if you could include a bankone app or 2 (or is bankone gone). I have had about 4 different chase INQs on my credit reports. If we could REALLY match each INQ to each card, then I think we could figure out which cards to apply for without hitting each division up for to many accounts. If we could all work on this, the results could be amazing.

Hey OP, do you have any thought on this Products Chase Card Services Canada currently issues the following credit card products: Sears Card Sears MasterCard Chase Gold MasterCard Marriott Rewards Platinum Visa Card I was checking out bank one and found this, what do you think about these not being in the chase limit of cards? Just as an example. Even if no 0% maybe the line can be CLR. Marriott app takes you to First usa website. |

Good idea. Unfortunately, I already have the Sears card and haven't found a CSR willing/able to consolidate it. As to the other two, I'm game. I should be ready in few weeks for another spree. |

When I searched bank one in wikipedia it came up with that info. Maybe Good old WIKI can be useful? I was kinda thinking of it as a way to maybe find out whch branchs do which cards. Sears for example has a mastercard that is backed by CITI but I can't find out if it's like the HomeDepot mastercard that doesn't require a personal guarantee. The Marriott card takes you to the First usa website. I would never had know that chase does some Sears and CITI does the others. I think people get approved for the KEYBANK masrercard (citi) without even putting their name on the app. But of course the app says YOU MUST FILL IN THE PG SECTION, but noone does. How can we figure which accounts will let you do that and which accounts won't? This is off topic for your AOR thread, sorry I should have PMed you instead. |

Venturion said:The deed is done. I applied for 28 cards: 11 business and 17 personal. I will post the list here in a day or two.
28 Cards 3 instant accepts for $38K (all personal) 2 unable to pull Experian (personal BofA cards) 1 need to send stuff in (1 Pulaski personal card) 1 error message (HSBC personal card) 7 Chase or co-branded business cards (deferred) 14 biz and personal cards (deferred)
Starting bumping and disputing. Now comes the wait. are you giving up on the boa cards? |
