Interesting. How much was your CL reduced by? Was the entire CL diff moved to the new cars? I am not so sure if I will be able to CLI back to $56k.Well, it wasnt nearly that much..... They 'borrowed' $14.5k from a $15k limit, and used it to create two $17.5k biz cards. I CLI-ed the original card back up to $15k, and I now sit with $52k total AMEX lines across 4 cards. |

SweetCash said: Doesn't BoA report utilization also in the middle of the statement cycle? From what you're saying it sounds like they're not... IME, if you don't ask for any CLIs, they only ever report at statement close. If you request a CLI then for the account you requested the line increase, they will report it's balance in conjunction with doing their "soft pull". |

What did you talk with them,I have also recd a letter for verification of ID and income. How did you talk to them not to give income papers. TIA. dealcather said:Stay away from Juniper unless you are a US Citizen. National city lifespring visa approved me last month and for some reason froze the account after the BT went through. They sent a letter with list of things to share (I refused income docs and other personal stuff) and eventually it took a few phonecalls and some ID verification docs before they restored it. |

I don't know much about the pains involved but wouldn't it be just an inconvenience as long as the info you gave on your app is all correct and backable with evidence? |

Ok, after reading on the internet and this thread I understand why people hate AMEX FR. I was planning to do a BT from AMEX but I guess I just changed my mind |

Stani, you make a good point, as long as the info on your app is easily verifiable (by tax forms), then you'll probably pass. The real disruption is if you're using AMX cards for regular spending, and they get froze for a week while the FR works its way out. I did a BT off AMX. But I wasn't using my cards for anything EXCEPT the BT, so if cards got frozen... no biggie! I also got a namby-pamby F/R (no freeze, only verified info on phone) |

I also got a namby-pamby F/R (no freeze, only verified info on phone) I guess they will pull your credit report while doing the FR. If they see large balances being carried with then and/or other issuers(because of AOR) and also see too many inquiries, even though you justify your income and backup those balances with money in your high-yield accounts or CDs they may close some or all your accounts which could turn out to be bad for your credit history. I read this on some forum. |

I looked at this Baylor Alumni card, but the terms show a 3% uncapped BT fee. People have been successful in gettng capped fees recently |

What exactly is MBNA Bill Pay? I keep hearing about it on the site, but don't know what it is. Can someone please describe it? Thanks. Hindustani said:Jagd said:I'd would give the WAMU ESPN card a shot
WAMU ESPN
it seems more mainsteam than WAMU/Providian's usual offering (Everybody watches ESPN right?)
it has a 6 month fee-free BT + 0 % on purchases for 6 months
I submitted an app with a 10k bt request and they approved me for 14k immediately I did have an existing WAMU card with a 5k limit though so not sure if that is a + or a -.
I'm surprised you applied for to BofA. I left them off my last AOR because MBNA billpay is way too valuable to loose.
I had WAMU on my list to start with but ended up removing it after getting bad feedback on the CL they give.
I don't use MBNA billpay. I know the risk involved but I have about $65k CL with BofA now and wanted to see how I could use it if I wanted to.

then write a check to myself i mean a bill and if there wasn't enough funds in my bank account, then they would take it from my credit card???? Is this right, or am i missing it all together??? |

It is free. But yes you are missing the point. Effectively you can pay other credit cards with it. So when your 10k BT on your Citi Card is about to expire you pay it off using the billpay. The bill pay treats it as a purchase so it effectively adds another 1-2 bill cycles of free 0% money to all your credit cards. Nearly every major credit card issuer can be paid - Capital One being a major exception |

but as I understand and in regards to cyberkosts statement, one can't get this account now. you had to have an MBNA card before the BOA-MBNA merger I think Suntrust credit cards are old mbna cards, The website is netaccess.com, Now it says fia ofcourse. When I got my merrill+ card I couldn't put that on my bofa login. I had to setup access on www.service.merrillcard.com (follow so far) 1 day i messed up and logged in with my suntrust ID and it pulled up my suntrust account from the merril site but I could not put both of those cards on the same login. maybe this is confusing to me because I just don't have the billpay option. In all 3 logins, BofA, Merrill+ and suntrust I have a billpay tab, but when I click it, it takes me to where I can pay my credit card. It does say "pay other bills with billpay" but I just don't see anything to set up. Sorry for the long post, I'd just like to use it if I can. |
