I see it now. Strange, bullet point on the first page has:
Introductory 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR)† for Cash Advance Checks and Balance Transfers through your first twelve billing cycles* (subject to a 3% transaction fee, no less than $10). I'd be real careful with this one: 2 The Introductory APR does not apply to Purchases, Bank and ATM Cash Advances, or online Direct Deposits. Looks like you'd need to do a real transfer to another card or get hit with an uncapped fee. |

Looks like you'd need to do a real transfer to another card or get hit with an uncapped fee. That is pretty much the standard offer on many BoA cards. It all means that you'll be hit with an uncapped fee if you do an ACH transfer (so called"direct deposit") online. However, point #1 in the same T&C says that there's a cap if do the ACH transfer non-online (e.g., by phone) |

Just got an e-mail from GE, they declined my GE money app due to too many inquiries. Same result in my first AOR also. Note for next AOR: Apply for GE cards within the first 5 apps or not apply at all. |

Especially with it being declined that quickly...I do have 2 discover cards already, so your reasoning may be right. I need to make sure I don't apply for discover next time. It'd be worth calling them later this week - they allow 3 accounts at once (personal and biz combined) and both my apps were initially declined. But after calling to 'inquire' about each app status the CSRs approved them both (two calls, two approvals), although for the second one she had to close an existing account first. I got the feeling that it was just a rather conservative computer system that the CSRs are use to overriding. |

Hindustani said:lhendricks92 Do you choose not to use it, or do you not have access? If you have it, I HIGHLY recommend using it instead of BTing with BofA. You will essentially be hiding your BofA balance from BofA (and everyone else, of course.) See jaircon's adverse action in his thread for more details.[/Q said:

so that would be atleast 5 discovers and maybe more. |

jakeru said:I have been having pretty good results employing a "rolling 0%" strategy on my BOA NEA card. The $30 transaction fee is worth it for me to run most of the time at 100% utilization on a $42k limit, all the while keeping my reported revolving balances down.
I have been making payments via personal check in the branch on the due date, (one day before statement date). Then about couple days later (as soon as I am sure statement has cycled,) I deposit one of the numerous BT/cash access checks that BOA has sent me into my WAMU high-yield savings. Doesn't BoA report utilization also in the middle of the statement cycle? From what you're saying it sounds like they're not... |

I've only had BofA report mid cycle, on a new account after doing initial BT or getting a CLI and BTing. It always pisses me off, So Now I play them more careful but not much I can do on the new account updating. If I call and get a CLI, I wait a few days to do the BT because they will report the new CL. Atleast thats what has happened to me. |

GE pulled EQF for me and approved the card, even though I then had 8 EQF inquiries (but all older than 12-18 months). It may also help that I used to have Mervyn's store card (issued by GEMB) - closed about 5 years ago, but still reporting. Update: - AMEX Business Freedom Pass approved but reallocated CL from Blue card. They reduced my CL on Blue from $56.7k to $500!!! Not sure how much of it was moved to the Freedom Pass card. This means I have hit my max exposure limit with AMEX. - Citi Drivers Edge and Citi AMEX Plantinum approved but reallocated from existing Citi cards. This means I have hit my max exposure limit with Citi. - Got e-mail from US bank that my card is approved, no CL info given. |

Was the entire CL diff moved to the new cars? I am not so sure if I will be able to CLI back to $56k. |
