Stolen from SD: (everything) So just saw this on Kotaku. Looks like WalMart is selling 360 Arcades for $199 with a $100 GC on Saturday.
Not sure whether this is for real or not, image is attached to show "proof." If its true, definitely a great deal. Searched threads to see if this had been posted before and couldn't find it anywhere. If this doesn't belong in Hot Deals, my bad, just tell me and I'll try and get it moved
This has also been confirmed by CheapyD @ CAG FWIW. I think I might pick another one up at this price- my refurb'd one should fetch at least $100... and it works fine!

any clues as to what model that 42" Sharp TV is? That item number is not on the website. There are only 3 Sharps listed online, and all matching sizes: 42, 46, 52... So I would a assume its this ONE. Good Deal?
The sku for the 360 does not show up on the WalMart.com website, so it must be a special sku like Black Friday merchandise. Since it shows that it is for this coming Saturday the WalMart stores should be getting shipments this week. Can any WalMart employees confirm that this is real?

For $498? Doubt you can get a 120hz anywhere near that price... no? This would be a bedroom TV... I have a 50" plasma for gaming in the living room. My preferred budget is about $450

I have absolutely no need for one (already have PS3 and Wii), but I find myself having a hard time resisting...
i do not think any games require a hard drive its more like optional for extras like added maps. Not sure about streaming but I do not see how the included 512 mb could not suffice
So quick questions for all the FW & WalMart veterans in here:
1) Is there any reason for me to NOT go to WalMart on my lunch break today and buy 5 of them and then go pricematch (or return/rebuy) them on Saturday?
Thoughts: 2) Will there be a limit per person? 3) Will they adjust on Saturday? 4) Will they mark a certain number with a separate sku to limit the stock? 5) And if this will work, do I need to buy them in 5 separate orders to be safe? Thanks in advance!

I have a 120hz Toshiba that looks crap (but probably because of the 8ms) response time.
That being said, I wasn't aware that the 360 generates enough FPSs for that to be significant. Compared to my PC I always feel like 360 games are laggy (which is a pity since I love Halo)
