M4b files are just MPEG4 files, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem. If it won't work, change the file extension to .aac and give it a shot that way.

Special instructions for Vista users:

After you install the software and reboot,
go back into the folder with the installation files and right-click on the Activate program. Then select "run as administrator." This will activate your copy of the program. If you don't do this, you will only get the 30-day trial.

found a link to this on SD yesterday, it worked really well for me converting M4B to MP3, and it does alot more

Interesting. Does the PC doing the coverting still needs the Digital Right in order to decode the DRM media into non-DRM material?

What changed? I read a while back that anything removing DRM was illegal. Talking about ways to remove DRM was illegal, even thinking about remvoing DRM was illegal... Don't get me wrong, I'm getting my copy, DRM is a PITA. Nothing worse than ripping 10 to 20 CDs after the XP sp2 before you realize that sp2 turned DRM back on for you.
