Too bad you have to put the disc in the console every time you want to stream Netflix. Still, this is good if you don't have another way to get Netflix on your TV. I'll stick with using my TiVo.

Apparently that will only be in the beginning. An update will be released by the end of year or top of Q1 2010 which will require the streaming directly on the PS3 without the use of the DVD.

Not sure if you meant that Netflix is intentionally slow in sending the next movie in your queue, or if the use of the USPS altogether is a throttled way of renting. If it's the first, I guess I've had a much different experience with Netflix. I live on the far outskirts of a metropolitan area, and when I leave a DVD in my mailbox for return to Netflix (not picked up until mid-afternoon), I receive the next movie 2 days later virtually every time. Seems they are sending my next movie within hours of receiving my return, with overnight delivery in both directions. I can't ask for more than that.

Netflix was sued, and lost, a lawsuit about them delaying the delivery of disks to those who rent a lot. My delivery was fantastic for perhaps a year until Netflix decided I had rented enough movies and then even though I dropped my Discs off in the same post office as their mail box they took a week to mail the next DVD. I am expecting they will do the same thing with downloads.

dongky - it will depend on your internet connection speed.
I have a fast connection (20Mb) and (when streaming to my TiVo HD) always get the best quality stream Netflix offers. I'd say that their HD content is better than DVD-quality, but not as good as Blu-ray, OTA, or cable. Personally, I only use it for content that isn't available on Blu-ray.

This has been my experience as well, although I have been with Netflix less than a year. I typically see two days between movies. One day to mail it to them, they ship out the next the same day (most recently, the received at 6:57 am and shipped out 2:47 pm) and one day for it to be mailed back to me.
So far I've been very impressed. I'll be disappointed if it changes.
Can someone make an ISO of the disc and email it to me, I requested one, but have yet to receive it and would like to get it going before i go back to work on Tuesday. What kind of movies are available to be streamed, new releases or older ones? Thanks a ton.
