I graduated from Loras College with a BA in Business Management. I spent a few years marketing services for the architecture & engineering industry. I put on my thinking cap again, and went back to school for my Masters in Marketing. After earning my MBA from Saint Xavier University, I taught as an adjunct faculty member for the school. Currently, I'm working as a Social Media Coordinator for FatWallet.
Social Media Influencer
In the old age, there was AOL's instant messenger. Personally, that was the only social media I knew growing up. When I came home from my study abroad program in 2005, my friend screamed "We have Facebook!" Huh? What's Facebook? Well fast forward a few years, and the social media presence is completely different! Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, Google+, Pinterest - all equally exciting outlets to engage with others. Lucky for me, I get to learn more every day at FatWallet.
Personal life
I grew up on the south side of Chicago, and recently relocated to Rockford, IL. I have a big Irish heritage, and even spent a semester studying in Dublin, Ireland. In line with that, I love to travel. I've seen some pretty cool places so far! This past October, I married my fiancé of eight years in sunny Florida. I like to be active, read on my Kindle Fire, go to concerts, drink wine with my girlfriends, and try to be Martha Stewart with craft projects (kudos to Pinterest).
